We're totally WRAD Ready

We are totally WRAD ready.

On March 5, 2014, educators, children, parents and a host of literature loving  people will participate in LitWorld's World Read Aloud Day. LitWorld is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to grow and support literacy leaders and literacy programs.

We are raising our voices in support of global literacy by reading aloud with classrooms across the country.

We are connecting with authors
and amazing WRADvocates
Ame Dyckman, and

We are connecting with Kate DiCamillo!
Not only is she the author of this year's Newbery Medal winning book, Flora and Ulysses, she is the National Ambassador for Young People's Literature.  Her message as National Ambassador fits so well with LitWorld's message. We are over-the-moon excited to be connecting with Kate.
"Take Action for Global Literacy,
Celebrate the Power of Words,
Change the World."

Share your stories.

Be the story.

Read Aloud on March 5th.
