All Together Now

Today, my students and I connected with other learners to participate in Jumpstart's Read for the Record. We read with Andy Plemmons' students in Georgia, Jenny Lussier's students in Connecticut, Carolyn Lemons' students in Texas and with the Ambassador for School Librarians, John Schumacher.

It was a great day.  Have a look and a listen.

Read for the Record

Tomorrow is ...
"Jumpstart’s Read for the Record® is a global campaign which generates public support for high-quality early learning by mobilizing millions of children and adults to take part in the world's largest shared reading experience. On October 22, 2015, Jumpstart celebrates the 10th anniversary of Read for the Record with the campaign book, Not Norman: A Goldfish Story, written by Kelly Bennett and illustrated by Noah Z. Jones."

We will Read for the Record with the students of Andy Plemmons, Jenny Lussier, and Shawna Ford in Georgia, Connecticut, and Texas along with  the always fabulous, John Schumacher, Ambassador for School Libraries. I'm looking forward to connecting with my teacher professional leaning network friends!

It's not too late! Sign up on the Jumpstart page and Read for the Record

I'm looking forward to reading Not Norman for the record. You can read the book below or read it here.
